I’m in love with all things strange, with the blurry boundaries between what is considered real and what is considered imaginary.  I like to explore the breakdowns in those boundaries in my writing.

I currently live in Wales, where I teach creative writing at Bangor University.  I am also pursuing a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing at Bangor University.  I am writing a multi-media, interactive, digital “visual novel” based on Welsh mythology.

I have a Master’s in Professional Writing (technically an MFA) from USC, which translates to: I will be paying off school loans until the world ends or I starve to death.  It’s a toss up at the moment.

When I’m not writing, I’m usually out taking photographs, riding horses, or playing soccer.  Or, let’s face it, playing online.
